I think he has ever so slightly missed the point of why they (Love etc) object to having Cobain perform other songs. Or he's just choosing to ignore it.

Say what you want about his music. You've got your opinion. As for what type of person he is, he's one of the most charitable celebrities there is. He's given literally, millions of dollars to local charities, gives his time quite often.

If I can have an opinion on his music surely I can also have one on his persona.
