02 in the sun newspaper
BON JOVI are in talks for a winter residence at London's O2 arena.
Frontman JON and the band would help fill a void in the venue's schedule left by the death of MICHAEL JACKSON, who was due to play 50 dates. The talk is of 20 London Jovi gigs in November and December. A source said: "Few bands could fill the venue for so long, but Jovi are one." well we know the sun are a load of cxxxp but what do you think? |
Yeah someone in work buys that rag and i read it before.
They may have just picked up on the rumours. I still say its false. They mention 20 dates between november and december. We know the band wont work half of december (christmas holidays). Also wouldnt tickets have been on-sale by now for gigs in November if they were doing 20? |
They've probably just got some reporter to read the posts on this board and take that as gospel - they should hire Seb if they want more accurate info! :D

Surely tickets would be onsale by now if it was starting in November?

Aloha !
It's been proven that The Sun and NME read the fansites in order to post fake news items. On various Oasis fansites they posted totally fake messages which the Sun or NME picked up and printed as news. It wouldn't surprise me if they did the same with Bon Jovi. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |
Gotta love the British media :D

What page of the Sun was that in? I'm rather dopey and can't find it.

Whilst i hope there is no residency, and i know how much utter garbage The Sun prints on its pages, but just bear in mind that The Sun broke the news/details of the Prince O2 residency. I know they write mostly complete crap but they MAY have an in-house source.
