How do you use head voice?

I have tried so hard for soooooo long but I can't seem to actualy use head voice. It just goes into falsetto, which is NOT head voice just in case you do not know. Is there anything to do to helpmake it to head voice?

Maybe be a little clearer. Head Voice? That's the voice you hear in your brain, or otherwise known as your little man or conscience. I ask you this...what does this have to do with the band?

I think jon uses his chest, like ALL the time, which is why he messed up his vocals basically. Richie on the other hand... If you haven't already maybe have a look at Brett Manning/Seth Riggs and SLS.

Yeah, I was watching a recent live video of dry county. And it really did seem like Jon was using head voice. But one question, did he just work out his vocal chords to where he could hit higher notes iwth chest? And thanks

He uses head voice most of the time for the higher notes. As tohow to sing it, it's really close toi falsetto. You just need to use much more strength to not allow the voice to thin out into falsetto. The register is the same, but falsetto is thinner with very little harmonic overtones, headvoice is fuller.
