Just an observation
Of course this is based on personal taste, but some of you might agree with me that there is always something special about tracks 4 and 7 in every BJ album.
Maybe it's just me ;) |

A)pure shit B)okay midtempo C)really good ballad Example of shite: Who says you can't go home, king of the mountain, joey, social disease. Okay mid tempo: Whole lotta leavin, shot through the heart, two storey town Really good ballad: Always, livin in sin, in these arms, these days So the 4th song we can either hope for a pile of crap or a really good ballad. I don't find much for track 7s either. Without love, burning for love, seat next to you and wildflower aren't anything special to me. Although there are some killer track 7s... Dry county and wild is the wind... But like you said, it's all preferance. |
Alright, thinking of this as I list based on my opinions:
Track 4: -Shot Through The Heart (Does NOTHING for me) -King of The Mountain (Crap) -Social Disease (BY FAR, the worst Post-SWW, Pre Bounce song) -Living In Sin (AMAZING) -In These Arms (AMAZING) -These Days (Not only AMAZING, but up there with LOAP and SIBSN for my FAVORITE SONG EVER) -Two Story Town (Really Good) -Joey (Not good, but not as bad as some people make it out to be) -Who Says You Can't Go Home (Okay) -Whole Lot Of Leaving (One of the best Post-00 songs) Track 7: -Burning For Love (Not a fan, though there are worse on that record) -The Hardest Part Is The Night (see Burning for Love) -Without Love (Second worst song on SWW, behind ironically Social Disease) -Wild Is The Wind (****ing AMAZING song) -Dry County (Do I even need to say how awesome it is?) -My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms (See Dry County) -Mystery Train (Adore this song on a personal level) -Hook Me Up (In the middle of Bounce songs. Not near the really good ones, but nowhere near the real shit songs either) -Wildflower (Absolute Crap) -Seat Next To You (Absolute Crap) |
