I am convinced that as before with the LH and HAND Tours, they will announce more UK dates. I am so pissed at AEG right now for even suggesting that students like myself, or workers for that matter should shell out 200 quid for a shot at seeing Jon and Richies faces. I don't want to watch on screens, I want to actually see the band dammit.

alonso14 10-24-2009 02:36 AM

They will not do any other UK dates in 2010.

Promotion companies say stuff like that to get ticket sales. As said in other threads. The obviously WILL be other dates. Its illogical if they don't.

No it isnt illogical. They will do dates in other places probably in 2011, however the only other UK shows in 2010 will be extra O2 dates.

So they say...Like others have pointed out. It has been said before. They said they were the only dates in EUROPE then Obie confirmed the Paris date.

If the band announce other dates later on for the UK, all it will show is how the devious little b*stards at BJ management were fully aware of the intended price of the O2 tickets and held off announcing further dates until desperation forced people's hands into shelling out for ridiculously overpriced tickets and selling out a venue that is fast proving itself to be nothing more than a gluttonous cash-cow for it's owners.

It's disgusting and I'm seriously tempted to say screw the live shows for good until they can at least learn to be sensible with their prices. If that means I miss seeing them play live, so be it. I have my live albums, I have youtube, I get to play the songs live regularly myself and I can go and see any number of other acts.

They aren't the only band on the planet FFS! I'd rather give my money to a band that treats its fans with the respect they deserve instead of milking them for everything they can get.

Even if we assume brand Bon Jovi had no idea of the extortionate prices of tickets to these shows, they could still do what Bruce did and stand up for the people who've supported them through thick or thin over the last 25 years!

Well said. Prices are a disgrace. I'm only 16, don't have a job and yet I really want to see them live, but I'm not paying nearly £200 for a 2 hour basic setlist, which, it will be.

I can't believe prices are this high. I was thinking, £45-£60 and another £20 to get there and back, tops. Then I seen the prices and was like :o

Disgrace!
