Has anyone not bought a presale 02 ticket??

Just wondering if anyone hasn't bought an o2 presale ticket that was intending to this morning?

For what reason did you change your mind????

i havent, simply because i think its a piss take to be honest with you, the extortionate prices that they are charging fans now is just getting ridiculous, ive been a fan since day 1, i have never ever missed them when theyve come over since i was 15 years old, im now 38 and looks like this will be the first time that i will be missing them, im a hardcore fan, always have always will be but as for seeing them live again, i doubt ill bother unless its in a stadium, im not paying what they want for an arena that only holds 20,000 and the acoustics are crap

I'm with you! I haven't bought a ticket simply because the price is way too expensive.
If you pay that price you'd expect more other than just a seat in an arena somewhere..

I'm quite happy to miss the shows for that price and especially as you can never guarantee what type of mood Jon will be in!

I got up at 8.30, was ready with my bank card, seen the prices and changed my mind. As a student who gets less than £200 a month from a part time job I simply cannot afford it, and I am gutted.

Only been to 3 Jovi gigs as I only became a fan in 2006, so was really looking forward to the gigs.:(

I havent bought one either not paying those retarded prices to sit at the back of O2

nikkigw1 10-24-2009 01:32 PM

Im gutted too, my son is absolutely crazy on them aswell, must take after his mum lol it was to be his very first concert and he was so looking forward to it, he's got the o2 phone and got the code sent through to him last night, was really excited this morning and when i told him i couldnt afford them hes really upset, he's even said to me 'dont worry mum, ill save my paper round money and treat us to two tickets' now that has stuck a lump in my throat and i feel sick as he only gets 7 quid a week from doing that bless him and i would never take his money anyway, but i simply cannot afford them, if they do add more dates in january which i truly believe they will because if i remember correctly thats when they added more twickenham dates last year then i might buy the nosebleed seats for me and him but only if i have the money but it will be under protest and purely because i know ive upset him and i dont like to upset my kids

I also havent bought one. I was happy to pay £75.00 to be in any of the floor seats (red seats on chart). but not pay £200.00 or £100.00. Just think it is utterly outrageous.

Could book block A1 or A3 row XX or W this morning was offered several times for different dates but it is just far to expensive.

I have posted several rants already in other threads.

As you can see from my sig i have been to every tour since these days. I usually buy GC as like to be near front and not queue. I have paid £75.00 before and would have done so again this time. But at these prices its just too much to charge, i could afford it but would rather spend £111.00 (incl fee) on something else. I would have to pay same again as would take the wife. I would rather put £222.00 towards a holiday. We are saying £111.00 but forgetting the travelling costs. I only live 35mins from London by train but its still another £20.00 to get train then whatever food cost. would be atleast £150.00 for a good seat and travel arrangements.

Like someone else said you could pay less than that to watch them abroad incl flts and hotels. If you booked early enough. Atleast you get something for your money.

Im not happy to pay £65.00 to be at back of arena will be over £75.00 incl fee.

Saying all this i keep wrestling with the idea of going. I have not booked yet. I usually have it all done and dusted by 0905. But am just reluctant out of principle to book. I certainly will not pay £100.00 but may have another look at the £65.00/£75.00 but again for 2 of us including fees you are looking at over £150.00 for crap seats.

Im pleased i am not the only one reluctant to pay these prices.

I haven't.

Prices are O.T.T.

re..

I love bon jovi ive seen them on nearly every tour for the last 20 years,im in a bloody jovi tribute band and i would travel to see them most of the time but not on this tour and i have to use this pun because it sums it all up completely...these prices DONT "work for the working man"

Jim Bon Jovi 10-24-2009 02:38 PM

I spent not far shy of £100 each for a ticket then flights, transport, digs, beer money etc... when me and my brother went to see the police in london but the police on a reunion tour can pretty much charge what they want imo and i wouldn't have balked at the price but bon jovi to charge a fair bit more to play in an aircraft hanger is ripping it.
