People are always making Bon Jovi and Bruce comparisons. Oh Jovi are just Bruce wannabes blah blah blah blah. Even I joke about it.

But these comparisons must stop now, Jon isn't a Bruce wannabe...

For I seem to remember when ticketmaster ****ed Bruce fans over Bruce Springsteen personally wrote a very angry letter to ticketmaster showcasing his disgust and then ticketmaster changed their ways.

Jon Bon Jovi would never solve such a problem for his fans, he only makes the problems.


(sorry I just wanted to jump on the "angry pricing" thread bandwagon and mention Bruce at the same time :cool:)

Its true I wish I was a diehard Bruce fan!

1. Reasonable Ticket prices for every tour
2. Good value for money, rare songs EVERY night by request
3. No support act to sit thru
4. no show last less than 2.5 hrs
5. No gold circle

Jon wants to take a long hard look at his idol

Whenever Jon is asked about Bruce he always plays it down and says that just because they're from the same State doesn't mean he's his idol. Instead he says SSJ is his idol or Little Steven etc...

For anyone who's seen any Bruce show in the past 35 years or so you quickly realise where Jon has stolen every little bit of his live act from - "you're not getting tired", "are you able to rock n roll", "i ain't gotta go to work tomorrow"... etc

Jon is a very stupid man to say that.

Little Steven is the frickin' guitarest of the E Street Band :rolleyes:

Southside Johnny have had songs written for them by Bruce himself and overall have a very Bruce Springsteen sound to them :rolleyes:

Jon's borrowed plenty from Bruce & SSJ over the years, but Bruce isn't above a little pilfering either. Kathleen and I were noticing some newer Bruce tricks at Giants that looked pretty darn familiar! Seems like the master is willing to learn from the student, too. I don't really care where they got it. All those Jersey boys put on a good show.
