I think I've heard WWBTF intro before...
oh yeah...

Hahaha, it's almost exactly the same!

It is.
OT: Too bad the Sounds never even came remotely close to reproducing the magic of the debut... |
I LOVE The Sounds! I saw them a couple years ago here in Oklahoma City. But I agree with the above post, Living In America is still their best album. "Seven Days A Week and "Living In America" are my favorite songs. Now back on topic... It's ridiculous how close they sound. I'm surprised I didn't catch that. I've only listened to No One Sleeps While I'm Awake a billion times.

Like it has been said before on this forum, there are only a limited amount of chord progressions in mainstream rock music. If we seek hard enough, we are bound to find similarities and references to other songs no matter which song we are discussing.

Oh wow! I didn't know The Sounds before. This thread made me listen to a few tunes and... they're great!

At least Bon Jovi is ripping a quality tune! No One Sleeps When I'm Awake is candidate for best tune of the year.
Will this turn into a Satriani vs Coldplay case? We'll see. |
