Complain to The One Show (UK television)

Hi,

I have been reading all of the complaints and I am REALLY mad at the band. I have signed all petitions and joined the Facebook pages etc.

I think though that we can take this one step futher and complain to The One Show (bbc1). They are always asking for stories and if there are a group of us that contact them, we are more likely to get our voices heard. I know the band are in the country at the end of the week, so this is our time to get our points of view over to them. They are not going to want any adverse publicity at the same they are realeasing a book, album and single, not to mention trying to sell out tour dates at the O2.

Whether The One Show contact the band or AEG, that's up to them, but any little helps.

If you scroll down, this link asks for stories that Dom can investigate and get his teeth into.

Would like to know your thoughts,

Thanks
J

I'd rather contact them to ask Christine Bleakley on a date.

God that woman is scorching beautiful.

You're better off submitting everything to Watchdog instead.
The One Show won't investigate, but, with enough backing/complaints, Watchdog will.

All I want to investigate and get my teeth into is Christine Bleakley

Christine Bleakley is the only reason I'd ever really watch it. Never mind complaints!

Watchdog? This isn't exactly a matter of consumer rights or trading standards, what is there to investigate?

Joolsman 10-28-2009 12:16 PM

Yes, Watchdog is no good. There is only one weekly show and they probably feel they have bigger fish to fry. The One Show on the other hand is a daily show and there is more chance they will pick up our story.

I will send a message today, and if others feel like they would like to complain, the more the merrier. The timing now is ideal as the band will be here later this week I think and will NOT want want any negative publicity.

Thanks

J

whats the point? At the end of the day I went on the presale today and the tickets that are left are rubbish ones - so people ARE buying the expensive tickets. All the time the tickets are being sold, nothings gonna happen. I was angry about the prices at first, but its not going to be like the stadium tours with a gold circle, first come first serve etc. Its a seated arena. I know the prices are expensive, but come 2011 the old fashioned wrist bands and queuing will come out. I had seats in the nosebleed section when BJ opened the o2 - not the seats I would have chosen but still had a brilliant time. I have bought £45 tickets for the last o2 show next year, block 407, and I know once I'm there it will be great.
