after green day jovi have a lot to live up to . . . .
been on holiday for a week and during that time went to the o2 to see green day with my other half who is a massive fan, and i gotta to say i don't own a single record or care much for them but wow they were amazing and put on such a high energy show. the tickets were cheaper than jovi's as well.
have seen jovi four times and that includes hyde park and them closing wembley and green day almost matched the high points of those concerts. just hope when roles are reversed and my other half has to come and see one of my favourite bands next june that they can live up to green day. |
I'm going on friday cant wait. £37 for tickets a band with a social conscience!

Aloha !
Bon Jovi have a lot to live up to compared to many other bands, especially compared to their ticket prices. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |

The 2 shows I saw this year are in my Top 5 shows I've ever seen.

The show I saw in las vegas is tied for the best concert I have ever seen. |
I saw Green Day back in 2005 at Rock am Ring Festival and they were amazing. I am not their biggest fan, but the sheer energy of their performance is amazing.
I'm going to see them again on December 18th and 19th over here in Auckland, NZ. At roughly 50 € for a GA ticket, they're great value for money. |

Totally agree.... Saw Green Day at MK Bowl in 2006 (I think), when they filmed Bullet for a Bible and they completely blew me away.
Completely changed my expectations of what a live gig should be. After listening to The Circle, I don't think there's a song on there which really has the potential to transfer to a live show. |
