Difference between the original and remastered CD's?

The majority of my "older" BJ albums are the digitally remastered ones.
Can you here any differences there?

Absolutely. The old ones never sounded bad, but the remastered ones sound richer, deeper... you can dive on more into the mixes. It's brilliant.

The only one thatis not remastered is "These Days", I don't hear any difference. Same goes for "Crossroad" - I don't think "Always" and "Saturday Night" are remastered.

That sounds cool.
I was thinking about getting a remastered version of New Jersey for a long time.
Sounds like it was worth picking one up.

I got TD remastered. It is well worth it.

The best part of re-buying them all is that everytime I make a new compilation (which happens a lot), the songs are pretty much all at the same level.
If you were to put on, say, an old version of Only Lonely and follow it up with WWWB, the volume difference is enormous! You can try and alter the songs with a sound editor but they never sound as good.
Yeah........ go buy, and enjoy! I did and do not regret it one bit!

Yeah, the remastered CDs have a higher volume level. But I don't hear any difference between the 1995 "These Days" edition and the remastered one from 1998. The volume level is exactly the same, so is the mix. So please tell me if you hear a difference! To me it's just cashing in that they also included TD in the series. Also "Crossroad" seems to be not remastered, only they messed up the programming, as the intros of a few songs like "Saturday Night" or "Runaway" are cut off when you chose them directly, as half a second still belongs to the track before. At least on some issues.

Yeah, go get "New Jersey", then you can hear the difference yourself. But as I said, the old one isn't bad... but the new one's better. :-)
