Bon Jovi at Best Buy Opening, Union Square, NYC!
 

Did anyone go to the opening of the new Best Buy store in Union Square, NYC, yesterday? Bon Jovi were there to sign the new CD. There's a few clips up on YouTube already.

I was there thanks to Deb (bonjovifreak) from this board. We waited outside, freezing to death, from about 11:30 until 5:20 when they finally let us inside the store. We were NOT allowed any cameras so I don't even have photos :( I'm not sure how that one youtube clip got past them.

Everyone was very nice and friendly - maybe because we were at the front of the line and they weren't exhausted from signing yet.

It sure was over in a hurry though :(

It was a cool experience for me, because I've never met the band before. I only went an hour earlier, because the people with blue wristbands were guaranteed to meet them and get an autograph. The whole band was there, Jon was happy and smiling, Richie looked me in the eyes, David was a little disoriented and Tico cool as always. The Circle was on the sound system and the movie on every TV in the store. It was over quickly, but I got to say a little something to each one of them. My pictures were from far away, but still a nice memory.

My friend went! So mad I missed it!
