The Circle - Copy Protection?

I'm so ****ing frustrated right now. I wanted to burn another copy of The Circle so I wouldn't have to keep sliding the disc in and out of the cardboard sleeve, but my computer keeps crashing every time I stick the disc in. I can't even PLAY it on the computer. I just get a loud buzzing sound from the CD drive and all my programs become non-responsive (and if I wait long enough, the blue screen of death). I tried ripping the WWBTF single, and that worked just fine. Anyone else have this problem? It's really pissing me off.

I use a laptop with Windows Vista, works fine for me, I can listen to the CD with Windows Media Player and I can rip it into the hard disk

I havent come across a CD having copy protection It's generally restricted to DVDs but most of my bon jovi official DVDs didnt have copy protection at all
Something could be wrong with the DVD player maybe update your BIOS and drivers for CD player

Worked fine for me, although apparently some of my CDs are copy-protected (e.g. Cold Chisel's "Ringside"; haven't attempted to rip it).

Although my copy of Keep the Faith kept screwing up whenever I tried to rip I Want You. It worked fine the first time (on this computer) but when I tried to rip to my laptop, everything froze. :?

Thanks everyone for the responses. I guess I'm lucky enough to have a CD Drive that has its own taste in music. :o
