The Circle - Copy Protection?
I'm so ****ing frustrated right now. I wanted to burn another copy of The Circle so I wouldn't have to keep sliding the disc in and out of the cardboard sleeve, but my computer keeps crashing every time I stick the disc in. I can't even PLAY it on the computer. I just get a loud buzzing sound from the CD drive and all my programs become non-responsive (and if I wait long enough, the blue screen of death). I tried ripping the WWBTF single, and that worked just fine. Anyone else have this problem? It's really pissing me off.

worked for me dude. i have an 09 i-mac i don't know whether that would make any difference.
i use i-tunes, then take it to toast 'titanium'! |
I use a laptop with Windows Vista, works fine for me, I can listen to the CD with Windows Media Player and I can rip it into the hard disk

No problems here either.

Worked fine for me, although apparently some of my CDs are copy-protected (e.g. Cold Chisel's "Ringside"; haven't attempted to rip it).
Although my copy of Keep the Faith kept screwing up whenever I tried to rip I Want You. It worked fine the first time (on this computer) but when I tried to rip to my laptop, everything froze. :? |
Thanks everyone for the responses. I guess I'm lucky enough to have a CD Drive that has its own taste in music. :o
