Saturday night live on...Saturday

"Bon Jovi is returning for their fifth appearance on SNL and will be performing songs from their latest #1 album, The Circle. Bon Jovi has set the standard for more than two decades as one of the most successful rock bands in the world. Globally, the Grammy Award-winning band has sold more than 120 million albums and performed more than 2,600 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans."

At least we know it won't be any old songs. Born to Follow and Superman Tonight, one would assume? Thoughts?

Panda 12-08-2009 08:18 AM

Yeah I agree with the song choices.

But what I'm wondering is if jon will be in any of the skits? Or if someone else is hosting?

Captain_jovi 12-08-2009 04:46 PM

That Taylor/werewolf kid from the Twilight movie is hosting. Which is VERY good for the boys.

Ou shit, LOL! Now it will sell 100k in this week, just watch. What a stupid society we have.

Is anyone else sick of reading "sold more than 120 million albums and performed more than 2,600 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans."?

TBoy 12-08-2009 05:23 PM

Yes... They should replace that shit with the one in my signature!

"Bon Jovi is returning for their fifth appearance on SNL and will be performing songs from their latest #1 album, The Circle. Bon Jovi has set the standard for more than two decades as one of the most successful rock bands in the world. They will score Top 40 hits even after Top 40 ceases to exist in any meaningful way."

I am. I roll my eyes and shake my head every time I hear or see those figures mentioned yet again.

And how long have they been saying 120 million? Four years now?

They'll definitely do Superman Tonight, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them play Work For The Working Man rather then Born To Follow.

Captain_jovi 12-09-2009 05:17 PM

Confirmed: They're doing Superman Tonight and....When we were beautiful. I'm just psyched it ain't Follow.

Panda 12-09-2009 05:35 PM

Yes! This makes me very happy! 2 of the best songs from the album being played. Ill defenatly be tuning in saturday night.
