Jovi for Christmas
This is something I had made for Julie. It has the ticket stub from every Bon Jovi, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora show she has ever seen, though we had to make stubs for a few free shows and private shows where there were no tickets or they collected the entire ticket at the door.
The big autographed ticket at the top left is from the JBJ 10th anniversary bash. The big ticket below that is from a private VIP box in Atlanta (paid 80 bucks for 2 tickets from scalper, it was amazing), the big photo at the bottom right was taken by Rob (a pro photog and jovi fan we know) at a Chicago show we attended and Richie autographed it for her on the following tour when she stalked the Jovi's at thier hotel :) Julie really likes the frame and matting , it hangs behind her desk and has spots at the bottom for the Detroit show in March and one more. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pic. http://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t...f/IMG_0242.jpg Dave |
This is very cool :)

That's awesome. I save all of my ticket stubs and they are just sitting in this box. Much cooler way to display them!

I have always wanted to do that with my tickets too - I really should get off my ass and just do it LOL.
Tell Julie that she is a lucky lady :) |
That's a great idea. Unfortunately i had the stubs in my van as it got stolen never to be seen again :( would love to replace them

Yeah that's excellent. I'm the same. I've not kept most of my tickets regretably.

Hey that's ****in awesome! I need to do something like that with my ticket stubs as opposed to hiding them in an envelope in a drawer.

I don't know if NJ has Michaels craft stores but they have custom framing for 60% off right now, this "little" baby is about 30x40" with 70 hole custom double matting and was only @225 with tax, it took em about 2 weeks to do and looks to be pretty easy to open up and add tickets to in the future. We had all our stubs in an envelope in the Jovi closet for years and it seemed a shame to not put them on display as thier music and concerts were such a big part of our lives for so long. They also had nice picture frames for vinyl records, that I thought of buying out of a goldmine magazine years ago for a fortune. On sale for like 6 bucks apiece so a handful of the real old valuable stuff hangs on the wall now too, just for fun, even though we haven't even painted this room yet :) Vinyl makes me feel nostalgic, hell the first bootleg I ever bought for Julie when we were dating was on Vinyl.
