The I Tunes Advert :mad:
 

The i tunes advert that is embedded on JT keeps playing , its 2 guys talking about vampires , whats that got to do with i tunes I dont know :?

Anyone know how to stop them from talking?

If u r trying to listen to u tube etc the noise from the ad will overide it :rolleyes:

first u have to listen to a damn advert, take your pick, house cleaner, strepsils !!!!!!!!

Argggggghhhhhh u cant turn the advert off, so when it finishes then the vamp guys start , I can then stop the video. Ive now had to stop the video 3 times and gave up turned the speakers off, just means I cant listen to BJ when visiting JT :( which just seems stupid !

Any solutions ?

Do you use Firefox with Adblock plus? I neither see not hear any of this.

What I noticed is that the ads differ to what region you are in.

I get this too. Yesterday I was happily listening to John Lennon but I kept hearing this ****in' other song playing over it, or at least I think it was a song, it was some annoying noise anyway.

Checked every damn tab I had open and couldn't find anything and like Dawn I just lost patience and turned the darn volume off.

About an hour later, wanting to listen to Elvis, I turn the volume on and listen. A while later I hear that damn noise again. I finally found it, it was some stupid advert place inbetween two posts of a thread on here.

Didn't watch the advert dunno if it were iTunes or not.

I will check with my daughter if we have firefox ..

Russ I can access JT without using AOL, i will see if this makes a difference.

Bang they are UK ads .....

Spot on sausage, what shocked me is I didnt expect it to be actually in the forum inbetween posts !

It's a pain in the ass, Adverts are fine visually because I just filter them out automatically in my mind, but audio that interupts what you're listening to is a big annoyance.

Dawn Firefox is easy to download, if i can do it you can

I have emailed Peter regarding this. It's driving me absolutely mad! Hopefully we can get ths removed.
