How the hell did alive not make Bounce?
 

Just listen. Anyone else think this is better than half of the songs on Bounce? Another example of the Jovi vaults being chocked with great but unused stuff. :|

Most of the B-sides/bonus tracks/outtakes from Bounce were better than the majority of the album.;)

I'm a Postcards, We Can Dance, and Another Reason to Believe fan myself.

The song isn't great. Actually the entire batch of B sides from this era is weak. But the album itself isn't that great either. I'm glad HAND was a great improvement over BBBBBounce.

It's a much better song than wank Misunderstood or *shudder* Joey.

I like both Crush and Bounce demos but I think the ones for Crush are superior. That album could have been an absolute killer had they included most of the B-sides instead of some very mediocre songs.

Alive is a good one but not the best Bounce demo. Desmond´s influence can be heard all over it which is a very good thing.

I can think of numerous Jovi songs with worse lyrics that get a great deal of love here.
And FTR, I don't hate Joey.
