From what I have noticed watching BJ/JBJ shows including some guest female stars, the kiss at the end of the song is simply a kind of procedure. It simply is Jon's expression of respect to the acompanying star and his way of saying thank you.

He thanked betty Lavette during the Obama Inauguration show in the same way. He also kissed Ann Lee Rimes at the end of the performance of "Strangers" when they were performing Live. The same when he was singing on LAte Nite Jimmy Falon show in March 2009 with one of the female fans. Nothing particular or scandallous!

I think you are missing the humor intended here...

well, a written word is a written word. Hard to find out whether it is literal or ironic, hard to guess the intention if you have bare text without seeing the speaker and his body language.
I was not sure how to interpret it. I found many different would-be-scandallous stories in other forums and they were meant to be taken literally. Hence my reaction. But if it was a joke, it is indeed hilarious:))) :)

This is why I worry about being sarcastic on here. But then I **** that worry and say something sarcastic anyway.

Or if sometimes if I insult someone like James in a jokey-way, I'm worried he might think I'm just being nasty to him so I wonder if I should put some smileys in my post to make it look more light-hearted :/ But then I remember I don't give a shit about James or his feelings and forget the smileys.

It's a curious thing, really.

I think Richie boinked her first back when HAND came out and they were really chummy. Jon got sloppy left overs :p

Of course it is all in good fun. Even if Jon was screwing her or anyone else, he's not leaving his wife nor is she leaving him.
