More 2 shows at New Meadowlands stadium to be added

Bon Jovi is getting ready to announce two more Jersey tour dates, adding two gigs to the back end of the group's stadium-christening three-show run at New Meadowlands Stadium this spring.

"We've sold out the three nights at [New Meadowlands Stadium] and I think we're putting up four and five next week," Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora said on a conference call with reporters Tuesday afternoon. "I think Kid Rock is going to be accompanying us for Nights 4 and 5 at [New Meadowlands] Stadium, which should be a great show for people."

The band is scheduled to be the first musical act to play the new stadium, with shows slated for May 26, 27 and 29.

I expected that to happen it was even hinted at several months ago. I hate this, just when I think I'm done buying tickets.

FUUUUUCK. I just lost my job, I don't have the cash for this.

Yup - I thought I was done with ticket stress for awhile. Ah well - maybe they will be easy to get :)

Discussion over at BS is that these two shows would be in July not after the May shows. Possible dates are July 11-12 which supposedly was said by Richie in an interview with Sirrius Radio. Matt in chat is also to have said July.

God, if theyre in July, I hope not 11-12. Ill be in New York/Jersey from July 22nd-29th

Did they really sell out? I know there are still plenty of tickets left for Foxboro.

As far as i know, only some VIP tickets, single tickets, upper deck tickets and behind the stage tickets are available and thats it.

I can still find upper decks for Night 3, which I'll be snapping up soon. And don't jinx me Dan, I'm holding out waiting for confirmation if I'm road tripping to Boston. ANd if the dates were in July, that would make getting them much easier for me.

Nice, just after I booked my flight. I also don't get why the dates are in July, but these things aren't planned with the fans in the back of their minds. Let's just hope they won't see the first 3 dates as some sort of warming ups.
