Cool stuff, Seb. Many thanks!

This show starts at 7:30 PM Pacific Standard Time. That's 03:30 GMT. If you can't do the math from there to figure out the start time where you live, try this - http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html.

This is also the first show with Dashboard Confessional opening, so Jovi probably won't take the stage until 8:30 PM or so.

Friday night, so I may stay up for the PBP.

I think this will either be a very strong, hit-filled show or some surprises thrown in for good measure.

Lost Highway to open would be good(don't care what you's all say. It's a decent song and if they can't find an opener that's right, why not?)

There are so many possible openers!! :D :D It has never happened that the band was opening shows with the same song two tours in a row! And there are only two song which were the main openeres during two different tours - Livin' On A Prayer (Crossroad and Crush tour) and Lay Your Hands On Me (New Jersey and These Days tour).

The oddest opener ever was Wanted Dead Or Alive imo, it has happened twice if I'm right :D

I agree with you. However, 'Lost Highway' is certainly not a bad song and if it means getting rid of 'We Got It Going On' permanently, great! :)

I wouldn't open with 'Livin' On A Prayer' again this tour. As you said, it was done on two tours and even opened twice on the 'Lost Highway' tour.

Well, I hate Lost Highway as much as it is possible so I would rather keep We Got It Going On than Lost Highway. Lost Highway is the same shit as Who Says, which is gonna stay forever, as seems (unfortunately). We Got It Going On is at least a fun song and I enjoyed it last tour - it gets people movings a bit. LH bores people to death. On the other hand - I think the only song from LH that should be played regularly is Whole Lot Of Leaving and the rest should be thrown in here and there.

Prayer is a great opener but it is a better closing song imo, so I agree with you. There are many songs that should be used, I have written in a different thread. I like the idea of opening with a different song every night and there are some songs that should work as openers - those which ones opened shows - Tokyo Road (in Japan, hmmm?), even Breakout :), Raise Your Hands, Lay Your Hands On Me, I Believe, Wild In The Streets, Rocking In The Free World, Helter Skelter, One Wild Night, even Bounce could work sometimes, Happy Now or Brokenpromiseland from the new album... so many options, just choose :D

I'm really not a fan of Prayer as an opener. Never have been. It works, but it takes away a key end set/encore weapon. Not only that, but IMO the song works better with the A cappella open that it gets in the later slots.

An opener should set the mood, and the mood is...Rock'n'roll baby

Though it's difficult to find a great opener in The Circle

Maybe they rehearsed The Hardest Part Is The Night for Seattle!
