If I could make a living out of loving you

A terrific song, I must admit I love it but there is one thing I don't get about it and I'm sure some others will agree

Why is there the quote about James Brown and then the long ass pause before the song even starts??? This is a question I have been pondering for what seems like forever, and even searching the song on the net it comes up with nothing :(

If anyone knows lol could you please share it on this thread and anyone else who wonders about it let us know your thoughts

There seems to be a lot of threads about individual songs popping up.

It's a bonus track....

It's average at best. I'd have preferred Nuerotica on my copy.

It's a form of sarcasm I suppose. It was obvious from the first post and the sig that it's a parody and fairly obvious who it is.

The James Brown bit is technically the end of the Crush album, in fact I believe the US version has that added on the end of OWN.

The gap is to reinforce this slightly-to detach that song from the album proper and supposedly ensure that listeners realise it's not part of the main album itself.

For good reason. I don't rate this song.

This is one of the best post-2000 songs. Better than anything on the last 3 albums anyway.

I liked it initially more-so than I do now and can understand why you like it. It was a bit of relief in providing something that rocked harder off an album that didn't do that so much. I haven't listened to it in recent years. It will probably catch me on random play someday and I'll enjoy it again. I just came to not really care for the lyrics, which is really not the point of the song.
