hey god anaheim 27-2-2010

For ages I've been complaining about jon not hitting those high notes anymore. for the first time, I can simply put that aside 100%, after watching this video. what power man !!! he simply kicked arse.

It was as good on the LH tour!

Anyhow, I wish to see more if this!

Definitely solid - Jon has great energy + he's pouring what he can into the vocals - but it's definitely a strain on him as he simply doesn't have the pipes he had 15 years ago.

I was also watching some the videos of "Loves the Only Rule" + love JBJ performance - he definitely seems very alive during these performances which is nice to see.

Ofcourse - it's an American crowd.

What's the fascination some people have with crowds and reactions?

The fact that 3/4 of that American crowd couldn't have cared or that that was the first time they were heating Hey God in contrast to a European crowd.

I think Jon has struggled with this song from the beginning. The version sung at Wembley in 95 isn't great.
