Show Added - Fri., July 9 @ the New Meadowlands!
 

I just got an email from Backstage about another fan club trip to NYC. The trip is from July 8 to July 11 and includes a ticket to the Jovi show at the New Meadowlands Stadium on Friday, July 9. Anyone want to bet that they'll be adding a second show on Saturday, July 10?

Hmm . . . how many times can I visit Jersey in one year before they put me on the tax rolls? ;)



EDIT - This came through from Matt on Twitter today:

"Home sweet home. Big things coming. Another trip to NYC this July for another show at Giants. More shows added in other places this summer."

Good bet that Chicago is one of those "other places" since Ticketmaster briefly showed a second show for Chicago on Saturday, July 31, yesterday. It was only on there for a little while, but showed the pre-sale starting a week from today.

Why is it that I never get these e-mails from the fanclub? I am a paid up member in good standing (I think) - and if you hadn't posted this Terri I would never have known :(

In any case - do we know when tickets go onsale?

And last but not least - shall I reserve a room for you? LOL No you are NOT a house pest - we didn't even get to visit much this last time - I felt too crappy.

Why did I chose to go back to school during the middle of a tour?!!!

My email appeared in my inbox between the time I left the office and when I got home. Sometimes I get them well after everyone else, but I seem to have been one of the first this time. I have no idea . . .

So far the show itself hasn't popped up on TM or on Backstage. However, the other Meadowlands shows have disappeared from the Tour page, so perhaps they're about to update that.

And I'll let you know about a reservation, Kathleen. LOL My Backstage friends have been talking about going to the July shows if they actually happened (May didn't work for most of them), and I was getting the old "are you ever gonna go anywhere with us again" guilt trip on Facebook the other day. ;) Somehow they seem to forget that I'm going a lot. They're the ones who are staying home. So how is it that I haven't gone anywhere with them?! :rolleyes:

Thanks Terri for posting it. I did not get a e-mail either. Looks like Richie's prediction is coming true. I hate this cause the trepidation begins again.

July 9, huh? I've seen the band 3 times on July 9ths (1993 Little Rock, 2006 Hollywood, FL, 2008 Boston) which is kind of weird seeing how rarely I've seen them compared to many of you!

Wow - you're right Becky. I hadn't thought of it. July 9th two years ago, we met with Terri and got 2 terrific shows at the Boston Garden.

Oiy vey, guess it's back to the ticket grind. Most likely gonna shoot for it.
