Watch this video and you will see why the sets are the way they are in the US. This is what alot of the fans in the US are like.

All bloody bastards.

What do you love about Bon Jovi?
- His body.

If someone in Holland would say something that they'd say it with a big smile, but that woman in that video says it like she's dead serious and forgot about everything else. :bang:

Salaam Aleikum,

Ive got nothing against people who go to shows just to see Jon shake his booty or because they think he's hot, I just wish they'd listen to enough of the music to ask for something other than Prayer or Wanted. Much of the audience has a limited knowledge of BJ's songbook here in the US so we get less varied shows, because by the time Jon puts in the new stuff whatever it may be at the time, all these people want is their "hits", you just can't put much more unknown stuff intoa show and keep the crowd, whther that's what he wants to do or not. There are places, like Philly, Giants etc.... where the old stuff from 7800 will get played and go over, but overall those songs just aren't going to get a great response here.

I appreciate JBJ's ability to hold a crowd's attention. Unfortunately, here in the states a good 95% of the crowd are not people who would ever visit jovitalk or any other place where die-hards hang out. As such, I'm sure setlists here are designed primarily to give the crowd a good show. The Nashville show (which I attended) was a good show. Would I like to have heard "Stick To Your Guns?" Absolutely. But, would the other 95% of the audience head out for a bathroom break? Probably. "Love's The Only Rule" was a great example of this. I was in the upper deck and my section was sitting down during what was a great performance of a fantastic song (I got asked to sit down).

That's one of the problems with a band like this that has so many radio hits. Tons of people come to see the tours but they are mainly familiar with the radio hits and anything else is an excuse to get a beer (or get rid of the beer they had earlier).
