ok DB aint playin the 13/06

this may be a blessing in disguise

1) he wont ruin ITA, even though he co-wrote it he still cant remember 3 lines
2) we wont hear ITA
3) no more dry county
4) no runaway
5) no always
6) richie may do extended solos
7) we will get raraties, due to the fact that Jeff Kazee (sp?) surprised a few people before when playin with jovi
8) if DB wins an award the band will be chuffed = jon might give a shit for a change and switch autopilot off

ill let you finish off the rest.

At least it aint tico or richie missing, that would be bad.

for all i care jon could say " on the keys if you please RALPH, from the muppets". Id still be like a dog with 2 dicks

I want to hear ITA, Dry County and Always, I dont care about hearing a rubbish bside or album cut.

Why wouldn't Runaway or In These Arms be done? Or even Always? Jeff is a professional, it's not like those songs will be cut because David's not there.

I was quite disappointed by his work on the starland ballroom show. Not exactly by his playing, but mostly by the sounds he used - they were aweful und sounded misplaced somehow.
I'd rather consider him a friend of Jon than a professional. It's kind of like Bobby replacing Richie in Chile some years ago - just not the same. I'm sorry for those who won't have Dave.

BTW, when did DB forget the lyrics to In these arms?

Bryan's a solid player and singer and never seems to have a bad day. The sounds he uses are very an important part of the anthemic trademark BJ sound.
So I absolutely don't get how him not being there should be a blessing in disguise.

No they're not.

Do we really need another thread to discuss David's absence on that show? I think this one makes it three! I'm guessing it'll be an autopilot show, because I think Jon will tell Jeff the songs they will play in advance so that he could rehearse. And if that's the case, the songs are gonna be the ones who Jovi played most oftenly in this tour.

Ah you see your comment seemed as if b-sides were, in general, better.

Still, I hate 'Edge Of A Broken Heart' and don't share the love for 'Love Is War', either.

Wonder how they'll do on the acoustic circle set without David. Will they play without the accordian with just Tico, Richie and Jon on the circle ?

MJB12 05-29-2010 08:41 PM

The setlist is going to remain pretty much the same whether on not DB is there...

MISTER DAVID BRYAN ON THE KEYBOARD.

Wish they still did this kind of thing now :(
