Should Blaze of Glory be part of main set?
 

I know a lot of casual Jovi listeners (not die hards) would expect Blaze of Glory to be played at a Bon Jovi concert. Even though it is technically not a Bon Jovi song, everyone but die hards think Bon Jovi/Jon Bon Jovi are the same thing.

Personally, I dont even like the song that much (as I do others) so Im not missing it from the main set at all. I always thought of it as one of those MUST PLAY songs like Prayer/IML/Bad Name and I am surprised it hasnt been played yet. I actually like that it is not being played because it is one extra spot they have to mix things up a bit.

However I think a lot of casual Jovi listeners would be disappointed not hearing it as part of the set list.

Thoughts?

Casual fans don't need to hear every single hit the band(or Jon) made and the band don't need to play all of them every night.I think only LOAP should be definite,on every concert.Of course,others should be there,but not all of them.So,if the band decided not to play BOG,it's okay,but they should mix it once in a while because it's a very good song IMO

Blaze is my fave song and I'd be happy to hear it in the set every night, but we had that on the LH tour (and poss. the best version I've heard), so have no issue with it being missed out this tour.

Absolutely. It's a shame that Jon doesn't want to play it for some reason.

It should be in the rotation, but not an EVERY night song.

I love the lyrics to this song, but I just can't get into the song. It bores me.

However, I really enjoyed hearing it live on the Lost Highway tour (especially with the Blood Money intro).

But I wouldn't miss it if it wasn't played at my next show.

I just think it's a great song all around; good songwriting, nice lyrics, melody, guitars, everything... I think it's quite an atmospheric song, that combined with it's popularity should make it played more often.

Compared to some of the other stuff that's played regularly I would much rather see Blaze...

Regarding songs that should be staples every night, I actually think LOAP doesn't need to be a staple. Yes it's the song that made them huge but let's face it it's very boring live now and Jon can't sing it to save his life.
