O2 ticket sales - suprisingly good??
Just spoke to a mate down the pub and a mate of his works for AEG. Apparently, there are bewteen 25-30,000 tickets left in total over the twelve nights. Sounds like a lot, but IF its true then it would seem to average out as around 2,500 spare a night or looking at it the other way, 19/20,000 sold per date. If its true, then nowhere near as bad as it could have been (although I'm sure there's some sort of figure massaging going on!)
Apparently AEG were really panicking Jan/Feb time, but it seems as though the tour has progressed, tickets have sold slowly but fairly steadily. |

As a fan it pisses me off that they do this. As a person, i have a sneaking admiration for their skill and their balls. |
There is also 13,000 tickets available on the secondary market (ebay, tout sites etc)

The bulk of them are probably the last 2 nights, but the original dates are probably in not too bad a shape. Although there are plenty of tickets bought that people arent able to shift without making a loss on Ebay and other secondary sellers. Still should look close to selling out for the most part.

any body know what the promoters have set the capacity at though, think it holds 23,000, but in may have been set to 20,000 for the gigs

but isnt that for floor standing and no seats, 220,000 is pretty impresive though |
