Anyone pay the £20 for a programme?

Says it all really? I absolutey couldn't believe the price yesterday but what shocked me more was the amount of people buying them! It's just blatantly ripping us fans off!

£20 for a programme??!!!!!?!!!!!?!!!!!

Are you ****ing kidding me?

hometownboy 06-08-2010 04:26 PM

I kid you not! £20 :O

Yeah, disgusting price.

It was a UK one though with the Dome and a UK flag on the front from what I could see.

It'll be the usual programme just filled with pictures of Jon pouting and looking constipated.

Saying that I'll probably buy one when I go alone for something to look at, so no point moaning if I actually pay it!

Apparently that's about $35 AUD. I remember LH programs being $30 here. Australians are used to being ripped off though. People have been conditioned to think $100 (before fees) for the worst seats at any major gig is a good deal.

Both the LH and Circle programs were $30 here in the U.S. That's typical. And a tour program is always going to be a bunch of pictures and not a lot else. You either like them or you don't. If you like them, buy this one. I got one with the ticket package I bought in Montreal, and it is beautifully done. Every page has foil or embossing or something else more than just printing on it. It sounds like they've changed the cover for the run at the O2, but I bet the inside is very similar to the one they sold over here.

Programs are alright. I wasn't going to get one last tour but ended up picking one up after the show seeing as it was my first and I had some birthday money left over. I'm more annoyed about the whole "being priced out of live music" thing more than anything. ;)

It's a bit of a mental price but they are nicely done. It's only the price of a few beers in reality.
