no banners at o2
 

went to the show last night and we watched security taking fans banners & signs away cos they having too many complaints from folk behind who can't see. i was in block b2 & most of the banners were on the floor close to the front. awesome show & i'm going back on the 19th.:o wanted to warn those who plan to take banners to not bother now cos of the security will take them off you.

I did wonder what the bunch of banners at the end of the pit was.

Good i dont like banners

Oh I do, as long as people are respective (is that the right word? Having one of those 'doesn't look right' moments!) and only show them for a short time.

I dont mind when they put them up for a few seconds and thats it. At Twickenham we had one girl in front of us that kept holding her banner up for a whole song which i think is very selfish.

I managed to get my banner for Diamond ring shown on tuesday without any problems, but I was circleside and only had to show it for a few seconds before Jon nodded at me and then played it!!! Was in the pit last night and held up my banner for These Days, but got told to put it away by security before any of the band saw it. I can understand if people hold them the whole time, cos that would annoy me, but if its only for a few seconds I don't see anything wrong.

Me and my friend were in section B on tuesday had a banner for always..im sure the band could see it, we only put it up in between songs when lights were up and only for a second, but we got told to take it down in the end. Stupid seeing as jon wants them...the guards are gunna shit bricks if springsteen ever plays the o2 :D

I was going to take a banner , but was shocked to not see many. The only one I saw was a A4 size paper that said Tico is dreamy...

As Im in top tier row A, next time I was considering spraying a sheet and tieing it to the barrier and letting it drop down on the screen as it wouldnt be in anyone way, but I reckon the way the security guards are they wouldnt allow it.
