Best way to get an upgrade??
 

just wondering which is the best way to try and get an upgrade?? just bought tickets for the final night but right at the back of the 02, but if there was any chance of getting closer i would snap it up

Thierry got one a week ago. I think he tried both those techniques :)) but you should ask him to make sure :D

look out for a security guy in a black suit, he had short grey hair and wore silver glasses! he upgraded me and yvonne, he keeps the tickets in his left inside pocket and gives them out when approached! :D

I saw a bloke walking with a wad of tickets, but he was scowling so I avoided him. Just hung about and saw an O2 lady, who upgraded a pair of girls and was over the moon so I wandered over and she wandered off :lol:. But then she was back so I just asked what time the support act started. She said 715 and I said it was good, cos I was lonely on my own so couldnt wait for it to start :p She then said she would get me a ticket on the floor and I thanked a hell of a lot and pretty much skipped downstairs!

Not sure how much upgrading will go on at the last shows given the offers, but always worth a try, just ask a random question like I did. Although I wont be cheeky and do it again, Ive had my fun so someone elses go next time :D

How about paying?!
It's getting incredibly annoying now that people are deliberately buying cheap seats in order to get a free upgrade.

If you can't afford the expensive seats then either accept you have cheap seats or don't go!!!

Everyone's starting to sound a bit like Verucca Salt in Willy Wonka.... "I want a golden ticket, and I want one NOW!"

Maybe if [artists/promoters/whoever you want to blame] didn't try to greedily price real fans out, they would be willing or able to pay.

True - but maybe if some people went just once instead of 5/6 times they could afford that expensive seat.

It's like the whole "upgrade to first class flights" thing. If you get offered it, then fine, take it - but to be actively ASKING for it........
