Which new songs arent played yet at O2???

I think this weekend is going to be amazing there... i think they ve left about 13 different songs to be played for the last 2 days, thatīs what jon says here last night:

sooooo, my predictions for these 2 days

Twist & Shout
Any Other Day
Brokenpromiseland
Blaze of glory
If i was your mother
Stick to Your Guns
My guitar lies bleeding in my arms
I am
I believe
Lie to me
Bullet
Live before you die
Fast cars
Learn to love

what do you think??

I don't think they'll change it that much. Bon Jovi like to stick to a pretty standard set.

I don't think these will ever be played (again).

they could easily fill up one of those slots with playing either the circle or slippery when wet in its entirety one of the nights... I think only 5 songs? (born to follow, superman, wwwb, LTOR, working man?) So that gives an extra 7 songs for one night, they could do it. And now that they added garageland, damned, i got the girl, i dont like mondays to the set, they only need 10 more songs in the next 2 days.

They won't play My Guitar ever again. Jon barely made STBI sound good, no way could he handle My Guitar. Besides, it's a complex song and the band is too incompetent to play it.

Are you reading this Jon. I am DOUBTING your abilities to play this song. Especially on July 9th. But anytime would be fine.

On a more pragmatic note, I really wish they'd dredge up Brokenpromiseland, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

This entire post is perfect in all seriousness.

When they played 'My Guitar...' in 1996 it was battered with errors and Jon couldn't sing it (I know his voice wasn't good in '96 but still...). This one was laid to rest when the 'These Days' tour ended.

'Brokenpromiseland' sound bad, too, but no way it should just be forgotten about. Best song of the decade and it needs to be played. The lack of 'Circle' songs is disappointing.

Well stated, friend. I mean, I think you can make a good case that Jon's voice is actually better now than it was in 96- but I don't even think he could *shape* his voice (layman terms) to sing My Guitar nowadays. And, again, it would be chockfull of miscues. It's in my top five- I basically think it's as close to a perfect song as you can get- but I just can't see it happening. Would love to be proven wrong, obviously.

And I'm glad you concur BPL is the best song of the decade :) It definitely wasn't phenomenal the one time they played it, but some refining definitely could have done it justice; everything about the song indicates it should rock live, and it's a shame they just discarded it after the second show of the tour. As stated elsewhere, it just seems to me that Jon and Co. gave up on the Circle towards the end of the US Leg. Which is a shame, because the only way to get people to recognize it's got some really good songs is to play them.

They also played Thorn in my side once and have played Happy Now a few times....

I really hope they give this record more respect since the songs in it just basically scream "PLAY ME" when I listen to it..... hoping they'll kick everyone in the ass and open with Brokenpromiseland on one of the dates....
