Best Livin' on a Prayer performances
 

I just watched the performance at Giants Stadium 2001 () and it was kick-ass! I'm not too crazy about the performances of Prayer in the 80's, but the performances between 95-02 were awesome. What are some of your favorite performances of Prayer?

Either 1990 New Years Japan
Or 1996 Yokohama
Apparently Japan gets the best LOAP.

Does Jon sing the chorus in either of these? No. Does the band feel absolutely unstoppable, perhaps acting like they thought they were having one of their final performances, in the 1990 video? Yes. Are Jon's vocals giving a final burst before entering the dark ages of the early 2000s in the 1996 video? Yes.

The Japan from 1990 is pretty tough to beat.

Though Moscow was also pretty amazing:

I have an awesome video of the song on my computer. I have no idea where it came from or where the show was but Jon enters on a zip-line over the crowd at the start and, from a vocal and energy standpoint, it's a cut above anything I've seen before.

My guess would be Cincinatti 1987.

The best Prayer is from Rotterdam 1989-12-06 with crowd singing the first verses.

Does anybody have the performance of it they did at Giants, not the Last one night show, a radio show they did a few months before the bounce album came out. I remember Prayer and IML being highly energetic, much more than what we're used to seeing these songs now....

There was the Zootopia show at Giants on 2002-06-02. That's probably what you are thinking of.
