Letīs Ask To Change The Main Set List

After being bothered, ashamed and sometimes quite furious (all this after spending a great amount of money in 5 O2, Paris and Rock In Rio shows looking for rarites and different show everynight as they said) about the autopilot set list, I think this last performance in NML has to be the inflexion point for these set lists

I know thereīs not much on our hand. But we (die-hards, fans) have to move cards... and the only idea I have is using big banners and asking it to Obie in the official site http://es.bonjovi.com/qas/all/questions_for_bjm

Bon Jovi has a great deal of amazing songs (i believe, something to believe in, i am, living in sin, stick to your guns...) that must be played, and over all, a GREAT ALBUM called THE CIRCLE which is taken apart in its tour in a ridiculous way (being for many, the best album in 2000īs).

Why do we have to listen Capt Crash, Sleep, Who says and Going On:mad: day by day, night by night, play by play..??? and not Brokenpromiseland, Thorn In my side, Only Lonely, my guitar lies bleeding...??? WHY??? Are they masterpieces???... shame!!!

Sorry about my poor english, but Im going to write Obie everyday until they change the sets, playing more often rare songs and over all, asking for playing more of THE CIRCLE:p

I hope everybody who agree with me would do anything, because our dream started in honolulu with both incredible sets, and after it, always autopilot (if u are very lucky, 1 or 2 rarities a night)

After the dissapointment of O2 and last night at NMS... we have to move!

Are you taking the piss?

The Circle tracks kill the show, I hope they drop the whole album for the GH tour. Let's face facts, the album bombed and no casual or newcomer has heard the songs.

I agree with you, especially about the Circle tracks. While I agree with TS that nobody knows the songs, nobody knows TD or KTF songs too and we all clamor for them to get played. It is absolutely pathetic how little the band committed to the album: it's not all the record company's fault Jonny boy.

That said, I unfortunately doubt Obie or anyone else will listen.

These Days is well known in Europe, it was at #1 in The European Top 100 Albums for seven weeks and stayed around for ages. Keep The Faith was successful too.

As much as I understand they weren't as big in America, they are still good rock songs and work if you know them or not. The Circle is not a stadium rock record.

Why the disappointment of O2?

I think Brokenpromiseland or TIMS qualify too. From what I recall TIMS wasn"t getting bad reactions either, especially with the solo at the end. But oh well.

Yeah, I was going to say those tracks do work live but Jon would never play them above the singles.

Damn you Jonathan, damn thou unto hell!

1- because they said they would play entire albums and they would play many songs the never played before, one night would be more acoustic, other one more electrical...

They created such a big spectations they couldnīt feed

http://www.musicradar.com/news/guita...on-tour-236166

"We're doing like 15 nights at the O2 in London. We're going to be a lot of different stuff," he said. "I think, you know, there'll even be stuff like we might do Slippery When Wet in its entirety or Lost Highway in its entirety - stuff like that."

About the circle: "We're really, really proud of this record and proud of the evolution that happened with [it] for us as far as musically and songwriting and all that stuff."

2- The high prices

3- The autopilot set list in most of the 12 nights there, where many people went more than twice ( I went 5, and I think they had the unique oportunity of playing what they want, with much more variety

...

Yeah, there were magic punctual moments (Something to believe in, Hard letting you go, Wild is the wind and Let it rock) but you know, 12 nights at the same place... everybody expected much much much more

mo_rizwan 07-10-2010 10:25 PM

'might' & 'would' are 2 different words with different definitions.

I think it was obvious to majority fans that Album nights were never gonna happen. Whoever believed it was clearly deluded.

But The Circle is better than Lost Highway at least.

We Got it Going On is one of the worst BJ songs ever

Best regards,
the Sexx
