I'm glad Jon's okay, and I really hope he's smart with these shows, so that the rest of this month can go on schedule.

However, I don't believe that for a second. They were already nearing midnight before the injury.

'Twist & Shout' and 'Peppermint Twist' may have been scheduled to proceed 'Livin' On A Prayer'. ;)

Okay, I'll hand it to Jon, when he says shit like that I almost like how much of an asshole he can be. "Endless encore" reeks of sarcasm and an awareness that people were bitching about the set. That's kind of funny, I'll admit.

The 2 hr 45 minute mark??

That really is twisting things beyond the facts. He may or may not be aware of any bitching. There is nothing to indicate he is being sarcastic... on the contrary the fact that they went into Glad All Over after Wanted instead of into Prayer indicated they were indeed planning to go beyond that. It did seem they were planning to go into something else after Glad, but the incident led to some changing of gears and ending with Prayer.

Maybe I'm dead wrong, but they could have gone a bit past midnight into overtime if they choose to.. they would have to pay for it, but it happens.

Exactly. I believe him here because that's what I thought anyways. Glad All Over in the spot in almost a guarantee something else was coming. We have no clue what it was, but I would love to see the set.

I believe him too. But, then again, I don't see him as the son of Satan as it seems some people around here do.

I don't see Jon as the "son of satan", nor am I saying that there's no chance they were going to play something else between GAO and LOAP, but in looking at how many songs they'd already played, the setlist structure of the night and of the tour, and what time it was, I don't see any reason to believe that encore was going any longer than one or two more songs, injury or no injury.

hmmm I think that message like often from Jon is doing more damage than good (by assuming the reading fans are all moronic ppl...) Because wanting to be too informative make it sounds phony to me he is trying to fool us but with things that stinks the lie big time ... 2:45 mark is major bull and the endless encore ...come on .... this is so convenient to say that .. everything is so convenient .. that injury is just too convenient (but I do believe it's absolutely real but it's like very fast Jon understood he could USE IT )
