9:30pm-11:45pm ... 2h and 15min?? That's not much!

No, it isn't. What's with these preliminary bands? Just put Kid Rock on at 7:00 (as the tickets indicate), get Bon Jovi on at 9:00, and give the fans 2 hours and 45 minutes.

You guys are screwed there in the USA and Canada - after the 4th NMS show Jon hasn't done anything special for you guys at all. Short and predictable setlists.

He's got a valid excuse though with his calf injury but still you guys pay a lot of money too and deserve a proper and good show.

I would prefer shorter shows and better setlists instead of standard-2 1/2 hour shows...I'd pay the same money just to hear the whole These Days record.

I agree i'm still waiting for the show where they turn it around for you guys. The setlists have been wank since the o2 and I don't see how Jon can blame his leg, for shorter sets fair enough but not for setlists.

lol.. i still find it funny that norther americans have curfews.

Doesn't everywhere have a curfew? Hyde Park certainly did and they went and played right past that! :D

There are lots of different kinds of curfews and reasons for them,
There is NO North American or US curfew.
A curfew can be a local law, usually in the US this is a noise ordinance rather than a ban on personal behavior. If a venue is close to a residential area for instance a curfew prevents concert level noise at a time when peole would be sleeping.
Another type of curfew is actually a union rule that governs how much a band has to pay for the services of union laborers and will have a much higher rate, sometimes double or triple time, for all the union workers, both on the production staff and local if the show goes on past a certain time.
Some venues have a curfew especially when the venue has another event the following night. In the mind of the venue the sooner the artist has all thier shit packed up and gone the sooner they can turn over the venue to the next artist and if they aren't ready for the new artist on time there are financial penalties for the venue and in turn for the previous night's artist.
In some areas a cufew is a local law against large events going on past a certain time. Usually this is done to prevent too much overtime for the large cadre of law enforcement officers who are required for crowd control, traffic direction etc. Every extra 1/2 hour of concert is an extra 100 hours of overtime and lost sleep for the local PD.
So anyway, lots of reasons that make sense for a curfew and in any case a concert can start earlier if the artist needs to play for a longer time.

Dude, 2h15 isn't short. Who else plays longer? And is e.g. 2h30 so much longer.????????

Yeah, it's about 2-3 songs worth of time. 2.45 (the time the band claims they always play to, even though they seldom do) would be about 4-6 more songs. That's quite a lot of potential.

And off the top my head I'm going to assume a ton of bands play AT least 2 hours. Just face it and admit your Jonny boy has decided to use his injury as an excuse to not play long sets. Or interesting ones for that matter.
