What do you think about Prayer '94?
I was just listening to my Cross Road disc today and I was listening to Blaze of Glory, which is followed by Prayer '94. I listened to it, and I thought it was alright. It still doesn't come close to the real version of the song, but I like it.
The question. What do you think of Prayer '94? P.S. If this question has been asked before, please let me know. |
I was annoyed that it wasn't on the version of 'Cross Road' that I have but it isn't as good as the 80s version IMO.

Decent. It destroys the TLFR version.
Best regards, the Sexx |
I wish they would play it in place of the original every now and again cos it's got borrrrrrrrrrrrrrring.
|
Much better than the TLFR version. Still not as good as the original. But I do like it :D

It's a pretty straight acoustic reading, not bad though. It's much better than the auditory rape that the is the TLFR version, of course the sound made by three cats stuffed in a sack and hit with a baseball bat blows that thing out of the water.
Doesn't touch the real version though. |
LOVE IT! I prefer it to the SWW version. Although any acoustic version (minus TLFR, of course) wipes the floor with the SWW version. My favourite rendition is from the AOL Sessions performance in 2002.

SWW version is their greatest achievement ever - nothing tops that one.
Prayer'94 is pretty good, but I prefer the live acoustic versions that they do. Obviously it's better than TLFR version, but what isn't? Some of the weak stuff in The Circle is still better than TLFR! |
Can't vote because the option isn't there. I love the 94' version as well as the original. It isn't about better than one another, it's about "different." It's not a competition.

It's a good alternative version, but if I'm honest I prefer the TLFR version over all of them.
