(I’m working at a football stadium at a Bon Jovi concert. A drunk customer orders a water.)

Customer: “Why can I not have the cap to this!?”

Me: “It’s policy that we can’t give them to you. People used to throw full bottles onto the field and stages during events and it’s a safety hazard for the performers, athletes, and other members of the audience.”

Customer: *absolutely serious* “Why would ANYONE want to throw ANYTHING at Bon Jovi?!”

A long time ago, somebody did hit Jon in the stomach with a full bottle--and somebody once hit Tico with a pair of binoculars!

I was at the show in Jackson, MS. when Jon got hit by a bottle.

Why would someone pay to go to a gig and then throw something at the lead singer?

I know that this was gonna pop up sooner or later sometime in this thread. He deserves it. He screwed up the words "Bon" and "Jovi" at the Grammys.

I did see that woman - I think it was on the Madison Square Garden DVD, she races up to the stage and flings herself around Jon and the poor bastard can't get her off.:eek:
