In Concert On 95.5 WPLJ CD (Sept. 2000)
 

Hey guys. I just obtained a copy of the 95.5 WPLJ concert released circa Crush. I've heard that it's fairly rare, but I'm wondering just how rare (how many copies given out, how much are they worth)? Also, are there any songs that were left OFF of the disc? I have a live version of Sleep When I'm Dead from a TYFLM single, and it states it's from the same show.

According to a post from Dave (Lord of the Jovi Realm) on another board, 10,000 copies of the WPLJ CD were given out, and the fan club also sold a different version of that show that included Sleep and had the DJ edited out. As far as what it's worth - who knows? I can't recall what I paid for my copy on eBay, and that was before the "bubble burst" (to use Jon's favorite phrase) and all the Jovi stuff on eBay started going for a lot less.

It's not that rare ...I have 2 copies ....one as a present in 2001 from a friend who was there and the other one as an added surprise when I purchased Jon's SVP perfume on ebay ;)

Copies of this disc were given out in the Giants parking lot at the One Last Wild Night show in July 2001. All you had to do was to go by the WPLJ booth and sign up.

This was done in NYC in 2000 - there were 2 shows that day. And there are certainly various recordings floating around. Some have the complete questions and answers and some are just the music. The fanclub version is official but I never considered the version given out by WPLJ as official (though others might).

I've always been meaning to get my hands on one of these.

Is there an official release of the first show? The one I have is the second one.
