some parts of the song remind me of "all about loving you"
|
Shrugs shoulders
Hmmmm - I'm hearing ' this is real life, real love' which is odd cos that was a stop gap song too.
It's a typical Bon jovi song - I like it cos I like Bon jovi. Does it rock my musical world? Meh. If WWWB and Superman Tonight failed at radio I see no reason why this will do any better. Personally I would have re-mixed 'brokenpromiseland', stuck it on the greatest hits and gone that way. But then we all know how wrong jons choices and filters have been over the years. Listen guys, new Bon jovi is better than no jovi - let's not jump down their throats for releasing a new song!!! |

I never thought ST was good but awfully cliche mellow crap (sorry) but I love this one way better maybe because the lyrics are less too much ... I wish they would have USE brokenpromiseland it was a precious GEM to me |
It's like "Walk like a man", but not so cool...

reminds me of Tesla's "Fallin' Apart".

The song is the definition of average. It doesn't hurt anybody und after five seconds you will forget that you have ever heard that song. There's nothing special about it.
I'm dissapointed. |
Amazing. No other word for it. I'm one of those who adores pop-rock and this is pop rock when it is best :D

Hmmm, not so sure about this song. The chorus reminds me too much of the nickelback song. Afraid people will be yelling ripoff.

Listened to it a few times...still just sounds like a bounce ballad...as someone said there are parts where it just seems as if theyre gunna say "all about loving you"...such a shame i thought we were going to get back to old school jovi...this song is a big step back from the circle in my opinion :(.

This is a tough one.
It's a MATURE song going after a target audience. It's a song that will grow on the AVERAGE radio listener with the right air play. This obviously falls more into the Lost Highway category than The Circle. With Lady Antibella & a few others, this song definitely fits in with that type of sound. As fans of different ages and generations, we want their music to sound like it did back then. I'm from the 80's and I'd love another Slippery &/or Jersey. A bunch of people would love a Faith & These Days. And I bet 10 years from now there are going to be fans that want another Crush or Bounce. You need to take the fan out of you when listening to new music. We have listened to everything from Demos to Box Sets for the past 25+ years. Our brains are overwhelmed with Bon Jovi music so we compare a new song to every single song they have ever done. As Bon Jovi matures, some of his music will as well. It's part of the progression. There is a reason why Bon Jovi is the only band still around from the 80's hair nation. Getting back to the song itself. It's a bit safe. I think we were all expecting a big rocker. It's definitely a mature song. As a guy in his mid 30s from central Jersey, it's not exactly what I want to hear. But I think the song will fair well. Not a monster hit but could be a decent one with the right radio play. |
