Yes, and I like this chart better as it shows the number of spins. Thanks for the link as I'd lost it. :)

With the solo being twice as long live (and hopefully on the album too), I like it more and more. Still, it's not "Always", nor "Saturday Night", and that's a shame.

Matrix15 09-27-2010 10:52 PM

Very much like the old WWBTF solo that just repeated itself twice. Still can't believe the band were persuaded to change it.

rolo_tomachi 09-27-2010 11:28 PM

WWBTF was need change, jon scream guitar! was need guitar solo diferent, killer.

WDYG? is guitar solo relax, is cool and natural, the repeat is all right in this song.

Not bad, other than the complete omission of BBBBBBounce songs.
I hope we are getting the DUET version of WSYCGH (the most awesome version there is).
ITA in disc one means THEY HAVE TO PLAY IT IN EVERY SHOW DOWN UNDER! Come on, bring on BOBITA!!

Johny 09-29-2010 07:55 AM

Ehm, what's the point in changing the order of the songs?? I mean the European and Australian versions have the same songs on the first disc..
I hope Japan will get more than just Tokyo Road added.

To make them different and make 'die hard' fans buy more than 1 copy!
That Jon, a slick businessman he is.

This has more to do with record co decision than band decision
More songs are added in other regions so people buy local Cds than cheap imports

Would it really have hurt to put 'Everyday' on disc 2 just to have something from Bounce?? It just seems very odd that the album is not represented at all.

Savvi 09-29-2010 04:21 PM

Awesome! Bed of Roses and In These Arms will be on disc 1.

Still, I think that Keep the Faith should be on disc 1 and that Lay Your Hands on Me and Blood on Blood should be ditched for Everyday and Thank You For Lovin Me.

Bounce NEEDS to be represented and Crush needs more than one track.

This was my ealier point, however no tracks need to be ditched.

CD 2 is much shorter in length so you could add:

Thank you for lovin me
Everyday
Misunderstood

There is enough space for all those?? Strange that they skipped them.

This should be disc 2:

Runaway
Someday I'll Be Saturday Night
Lost Highway
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
Thank You For Loving Me
In And Out Of Love
Keep The Faith
When We Were Beautiful
Blaze Of Glory
This Ain't A Love Song
These Days
Everyday
(You Want To) Make A Memory
Blood On Blood
This Is Love This Is Life
The More Things Change

"Thank You For Loving Me" reached the top 40 in many countries including the UK (#12), Belgium (#17), Germany (#25) and Australia (#34). It topped the singles charts in Argentina in February, 2001.

"Everyday" peaked at #1 in Canada and Spain, and made the top ten in many other countries, including Japan (#2), The UK (#5), Australia (#5), Italy (#7) and Germany (#7).

Maybe they've done it because some songs were bigger hits in some Countries than others.

Yeah, it's crazy to have left out Everyday, Misunderstood and/or Thank You For Loving Me considering some of the other choices.

Oh, it's a very attractive scarf and it would look great on a woman. That Seasame Street song and game "one of these things is not like the other" is going through my head when I see the four of them in this picture.

I agree about the "fashion show" look and to me this shot looks so staged. (moreso than the others) These photoshoots lately are starting to make them look less and less like a ROCK band".

Jovimimi 09-30-2010 07:43 PM

oh no Sandi you cannot say it's good ON A WOMAN .. you are talking about a rock band here ...rockers are by essence usually people that are living free of any stiffy clothes etiquette ... a scarf is good on anyone not just women IMO and I do think he wears that pretty well it is highlighting his lean tall look

rock is often ultra staged and too much ...

Yes, I agree that there is an exception when it comes to rock stars and clothing etiquette (Steven Tyler comes to mind) and I guess Richie has been known to come up with some "rock star" outfits over the last several years. (moreso than the other members of the band) Now let's pretend for a moment and take this same picture, only now Richie's not wearing the scarf, but Jon is. Would you still be ok with the scarf?

Supersonic 09-30-2010 11:08 PM

Rock is not supposed to be metrosexual, which Richie seems to be. And if there's one thing Bon Jovi don't do is living free of the stiffy clothes etiquette.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Jovimimi 09-30-2010 11:36 PM

why not Seb ... rock is supposed to not be conventional (you have all sort of rock some from very glam to very raw) ... well ... to me their look not my concern (except the lame suits a la 'elvis') ...
oh boy is the metrosexual gay-ish wind blowing again on the dry county message board ? it seems a recurrent subject ....as far as I can recall
rock is supposed to be free of doing what you want (though I could bet it is not richie who picked up the scarf) ....I feel sorry to see ppl being narrow minded on what is ok or not as a *look* ..they can wear what they want we can HATE it but to label them metrosexual or wearing clothes for women to say the 'gay' word that's just ..... lame

I admit though that if rock is supposed to be a genre free of stiffy etiquette the guys maybe cannot follow that LIBERTY anymore at 50 BUT it's sad to see the fans narrow minded enough to call back and ask for conventional stiffy etiquette when they seem to have forget it for one minute

Aloha and Salaam Aleikum to you too Sebastiaan

Scarves on rockers is nothing new. Look at Steven Tyler, he's owned the scarf look for decades. I don't see the difference between him doing it and Richie.

Ooh DVD.... could be the live performance in New Jersey from The Circle Tour which will be screening in selected cinemas? That would be my guess.

OR could perhaps it could be a Music Videos DVD... like the best of the videos... ?
