Bon Jovi - Isle Of Wight 2011?

Just got an email from the Isle Of Wight Festival people, asking a couple of simple questions about where the last few years festivals have ranked etc.

Also, it listed about 10 acts under the heading, 'Who would you like to see play next year.' Bon Jovi was on the list.

So, nothing any where near definate in fact it's just pie in the sky but it made me think...

1. What with Bruce doing Glasto; Jon would have had his head turned by the whole 'festival re-birth' in the UK. Plus, they are going to have to start thinking of new ways to reach a new audience as their singles aren't going to do it anymore.

2. The list was not random. It's a list of bands who are touring next year and either the festival organisers have contacted the record company or vice-versa to see if there is any interest.

Could be interesting...

EDIT: Should have posted this under Tour Discussion, apologies

It's plausible.

VERY plausible--Richie has said they're planning to a "proper" tour of Europe through next summer.

To be honest, I don't care. Bon Jovi is much better at their own shows rather than festivals where usually they only do short 2 hour sets.

Yeah, just across the water from me!

An amazing insight there.

Haha but they forget to mention how good they were at Rock In Rio, even though they play standard songs, it is an electrifying performance!
