Top 100 artists of all time?

http://budugllydesign.com/archiveow/top100/vh1-100.htm

Of course, no Bon Jovi.

Having R.E.M. on there is insulting enough, but Nirvana. Give me a friggin' break.

That list is Bullshit! Bon Jovi ruled the world for a time there. Half of those artists didnt achieve half of the success that Bon Jovi did.

That's just some moron's list. Some people think it's still cool to make fun of Bon Jovi.

It's not the success part that's ridiculous. It's the fact that some of the artists aren't all that great. Devo. Nirvana. Coldplay.

The funny thing about the list if you're looking at it from a success stance, is that Bon Jovi has been more successfull than at least 90 of the 100.

Yeah, whoever's doing that is probably about 18 years late. I think whoever did that list is just jealous of BonJovi's success. I've only been a fan for about 6 years, and I didn't realize right away just how huge they were in the 80's. Like was said, they were pretty much on top of the world. And now they put out stuff like WDYG, it's almost like it's another band.

You can't even attempt to convince me that any of their songs are better (lyrically and musically) than something like Keep the Faith or Something To Believe In. And yet they're still on the list. Crazy.

At least they had enough sense to put Aerosmith (my second favorite band) on there.

Lists like this should make Jon aware that he'll never get critical acclaim. Therefore, he should stop trying too hard to write songs like Leonard Cohen or Tom Waits or whoever he fancied. Stick to writing anthems, get the songs played on the radio (now and forever, just like LOAP), and sell billions of records. Abba doesn't get 'respect' but they are immortals.

A lot of those artists are quite good, but a good many of them had their time to shine years ago, and are has beens now. Can't believe Jovi didn't make the list!

Why are you guys taking it seriously? VH1 made it.

VH1 says "Livin' on a Prayer" is the number one 80s song

Best regards,
the Sexx

Wait, you mean it's not cool to make fun of Bon Jovi?
