2011 rumours

It was announced last week here in Ireland by Xpose an Irish TV show, that Jovi would play 2 nights at the new Lansdowne Road Stadium (now called Avivia Stadium) in 2011. It was also on radio and on newspaper (daily mirror, not really beleiving them)

Not sure totally weather to beleive this or not.
But its out there.

Them playing in Lansdowne I totally beleive as this is where they will play.
But 2 nights? I don't think they have ever played two nights in Ireland!

Think ya gotta take in to account the greatest hits record coming out, so a lot more casual s will be buying it. Also if there had been no GH in 94 i dont think they would of sold out Wembley 3 times, just my view not sayin im right

They played 5 nights (3 on one leg and 2 on another) on the New Jersey tour, as well as two nights each on the Keep the Faith and These Days tours.

It's been a while but hey, it is a giant tour so two nights is possible.

Hm, I've got airmiles to use and never been to an Irish show.

It has possibilities.

;)

Depends where they're playing on or around my birthday cause they ALWAYS do a show then.

The last show they played in Ireland was pretty huge, approx 80,000 I think, so two shows in a 60,000 stadium wouldn't be a crazy idea but I doubt the 2nd night would sell out.

One night in the 82,300 capacity Croke Park suffice.

one night or 2 nights I don't know but I will be there ...I love Dublin shows !!

WomanOfTheCity 09-15-2010 12:52 AM

Never been to the Ireland shows. 1/2 or more I'm def making those shows this time around :)

Now if they just announce the bloody dates!

UKjovi 09-15-2010 09:34 AM

I hope its true for you Sinead and get two shows :)

Thierry 09-15-2010 10:13 AM

Sweet, I hope it is true. I'd really want to go to Ireland again.
