Can somebody help me track down Alec John Such? Please!
 

Here's the thing: I'm working on a big rock magazine, and we're doing a huge story on Bon Jovi now that they're releasing their Greatest Hits. It would be extremely interesting to do an in-depth interview with Alec John Such to go alongside the ones with, hopefully, Jon and Richie.

Which leads me to my question: Does anybody have any information whatsoever to help me find Alec? An e-mail adress or something like that would be killer, but any helpful information is welcome. If you don't want to post it here on the board, just PM me, okay? It would be GREATLY appreciated.

Damn - I only have 2 pieces of information. There was a relatively recent (2008 perhaps) interview with him on a local far-right station regarding the Obama election. It wasn't pretty.

And there was a post about him working in a motorcycle garage somewhere in New Jersey - that was even longer ago - perhaps 2005.

Not much help I know.

**edit - I just looked him up in the white pages and came up with an Alec J Such in Freehold, New Jersey which would be about right for location. I'll send you the full address in a pm since I'm not sure it should be on the board.

It's a very long shot but Alecs name come from the Hungarian "Szucs". He may have reverted to using it after leaving the band.

Now, In Perth Amboy, New Jersey - where a lot of the band is from, there is a garage called "Szucs Service Station": http://www.yellowpages.com/perth-amb...0?lid=10416670

It was opened in 1993 - Around the time Alec left the band and fits report of Alec opening a garage of some sort. Might be worth investigating?
