More Price Bitching
Just saw a snippet in an interview: http://translate.google.com/translat...ck_jagger.html
Apparently Jon has apologised for $600 tickets or something. Can anyone confirm that price as remotely true? "As for ticket prices (which reached R $ 600) until the singer took a shock: "Really? Wow, a ticket is expensive, even in dollars. Sorry to hear that," he apologized." Can't believe this is still an issue, why is the circle tour so expensive?! |
how reliable is that article .. 600$ really wow that's expensive sorry guys ... (sounds like a bad movie)

Yes.
Bon Jovi is the Rock band with the highest ticket prices over South America. Best regards, the Sexx |
Actually the article is pretty reliable, it's from a Brazilian newspaper that interviewed Jon this week.
He said that he didn't know the prices here were so expensive here (probably the main reason why the Rio concert is selling really bad), even in dollars. The price is R$600 (+ R$120 of convenience taxes) that means something like $420 dollars. original source: http://www1.folha.uol.com.br/ilustra...sileiros.shtml |
Excuse me, but does he really think that we are that stupid and don't know who is responsible for these ridiculous prices?
It is exactly the same thing like last year when he and Richie were interviewed and asked about the high ticket prices for the O2 concerts. He acted like he is shocked and said that he would check this. Dear Jon, you weren't, you aren't and you will never be a good actor. |
Yeah, the article and the translation are reliable. Is from a big brazilian newspaper.

The worst thing is, even though the ticket prices are that high, the band are bringing a poor version of their stage........... !!!!!!!!
