As the same topic gets repeated over and over again in their current single releases etc some songs had real potential lyrically. Only talking about the lyrics, not the musical arrangement of the song.

Hmm, Some of the best lyrics don't necessarily mean the best songs, I'll go with:

Some are silly but addicitive, some are clever, some are meaningful - it depends what you're looking for when you say "good lyrics".

Novocaine, Brokenpromiseland and I'm actually going to go for, very oddly, Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars. The lyrics are daft and a bit silly, but good songwriting doesn't need to be deep and meaningful if the lyrics work.

Yeah I was gonna go for Capt Crash. I just couldn't bring myself to do it :lol:

I was thinking about putting that on my list. That must be nice for his daughter, having a song written about her that she can have forever.
