Something for you guys to think about!!!! going through every band album, you have 3 choices of single to release, dosent matter if they were chosen, or if they would be good choices, its what you would choose, when it comes to crossroads choose which of the 2 you would release, and for the ultimate collection which of the 4 you would choose

I think that Bon Jovi would be much "bigger" and more respected band with the right singles.They've made some HUGE mistakes with latest singles and that's why they're not so popular(on tv,radio,press...)

I'll just go with Crush onwards to because the singles in the 80's/90's were all massive:
CRUSH It's My Life (whatever you think of it, it was the right song for the right time) One Wild Night Mystery Train (seems to get a lot of stick here but it's a great pop song) BOUNCE The Distance (should have been lead single That soaring chorus perfect for radio) Undivided (Not my fave track but would have shown the world they can still rock) Right Side Of Wrong HAVE A NICE DAY Novocaine (would have been massive and like KTF when it came out, a lil different for the band) Dirty Little Secret (should never have been just a bonus track) Have A Nice Day (would've been fine as 3rd single) LOST HIGHWAY No standout clear singles on this record...they probably did right with Lost Highway first. THE CIRCLE Love's The Only Rule (Should have been lead single. Would have been the biggest hit of the decade) Brokenpromiseland (wrong not to release the best track on the record) Work For The Working Man (Whatever you say, I think it would work if ppl knew the damn track) |

I think the most weird single choices by the band have been Make a Memory and Say It Isnt So... both are not the typical Jovi song, and probably not the most radio/single friendly songs. I love them both though and am glad each had their own levels of good success. |
