Long overdue IMO. They need to go away aind have a break and hopefully come back with something new to say in their music.

Much as I would lap up any Jovi releases, they definitely do need a break, if for nothing else to enable the members to pursue their own projects and come back fresher with more experience. And if we get a Richie album and tour out of it, I'll pack the beach towels for them myself :p

I think I got most of the video, considering the music was pretty loud. After the last break, they introduced the "live your life" content. I wouldn't mind some more solo stuff. And if we got a new Richie album, we could see if he's still got it. Maybe if they take another break, they will introduce a new content type.

it's hinted but so not clearly I hope they will step away from the spotlight and just have a real break but .. I won't hold my breath

I agree. Jon was talking about the break after Crossroad/TD and left it up to speculation of how long this one would be. I don't think it will be a long break of more than a couple of years. I just don't see it.

yes 2 years until the next tour it means maybe less than one year really OFF ... I don't see Jon able to do nothing PUBLIC we want that for him but he doesn't seems to really enjoy that longer than one month

They cant have a 5 year break at this time in their careers, they would be too old. But equally 1 or 2 years may be pushing it if JBJ or Richie wanted to write, record, promote and tour a solo album.

I don't see anywhere in the article where he hints a break. The way I read it and translating in English, he just talks about what a prolific decade they have had. We may all assume they will have a break by reading it. Imo, I really really think they need a long break.

he doesn't really hint a break imo but he doesnt say the next cd is ready to get out like usual ...
