I've never been disapointed with their shows up here.

The encore for the above setlist in 2008 is wrong.
The encore had 'Hallelujah'/'Wanted'/'Medicine (Shout)'. |
Got it off the Jovi Archives site.

Which I would love to see haha! |
Yeah Seb's site has the encore wrong for the most recent Hampden show.
But look, a lot of it for a lot of us comes down to the setlist. I've seen the bastards 4 times. in 2001, 2003, 2005 & 2008. They didn't play anything off These Days at any of the four shows, and my disappointment grew each time.... HOWEVER there were still some great moments at each show and it's Bon Jovi. They are a tight machine on stage and the anticipation of what they might play is an exciting feeling. I have a feeling, given that they haven't played Edinburgh since the early 80's and the fact that it will be there biggest Scottish audience ever (67 000) that the show will be pretty immense. Dare I say worth the £56 General Admission price. And probably better than the Hyde Park show. Just buy tickets. I wish I could be there, but I'm now on the other side of the world with 2 hugely overpriced Melbourne shows to go to and can't afford the trip home. BY THE WAY - Diamond Circle (behind the circle seats which are right at the front) for Etihad Stadium, Melbourne works out at £370. Murrayfeild Stadium, Edinburgh £80. Australia must be the most expensive country in the world now. Even the bloody mars bar prices are a joke. |
Gold Circle all in worked out at about £110 spot on so I dunno where you're getting £80 for diamond from but I digress.
The show will be cracking as usual and yeah, I think it will be better than London since it's a festival gig so there won't be many surprises there. I try not to check set lists or even think about any other gigs. I couldn't give a shit if Manchester got Dry County the day after Hampden a few years ago as long as I enjoyed the gig I was at. |
Gold Circle was £80+fee for me.
The last Glasgow show was top notch for me mainly because it was my first Bon Jovi show. The atmosphere was brilliant (better than the 02 imo). It is what you make it. Setlist might not be an absoloute blinder but a good night is guaranteed. |
I might be mistaken then. My brother bought the tickets but when I was on TM the night before it said with booking fees and whatnot GC was £110.
Don't really care to be honest **** the recession. :D |
