Show start times...

Hi guys, I have tickets to Bon Jovi in Manchester UK next year. The gates open at 12, however I've recently discovered I won't be able to attend until at least 7pm...

Now I'm 99% sure he won't have started prior to then.. at least from previous (non-bon-jovi) events they normally take a while to get going, with various support etc.

but I have a few questions...

1) from previous jovi gigs, and the 12pm start time - when would you anticipate the band starting their set?

2) what would you do? or what would be the latest time you would consider arriving?

The above questions assume the 'doors' don't close... would that be a possibility?

thank you very much :)

The doors wont open at 12, it will be around 4/5pm at earliest. If you have GC you can turn up whenever you like, even during Bon Jovi. The only thing about normal standing and turning up late is that you will be nearer the back, but aside from this you can turn up as late as you like. Jovi usually go on about 8pm at a stadium.

The only difference is with Hyde Park, as that WILL be a 12 noon start as its a festival with many other acts on the bill.

Thank you for the extremely prompt response :)

I have seats (boring!) so am leaning towards going late.. and hoping for better than usual traffic ;)

thanks again!

Seats you can turn up when you like, I have missed various support acts when I've got seats, much easier.
